Richard Lord is a Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and is working on the testing of specialist acoustic chambers as well as developing improved measurement systems for calibration services. Richard has worked on many aspects of acoustics including computer modelling of sound fields, computer modelling the human middle ear, 3D sound displays and ultrasonic parking sensors. Richard is a member of the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Acoustics.
